Soft twinkle lights reveal themselves as you zip through the trees at dusk.

Zipline four lines through Whistler's old growth forest on a 2-hour evening activity with two professional guides, harness, helmet and transportation from Whistler Village. Children from age 6 are welcome. The guides share stories about the location as you move through the course, and the timing lets you finish before dinner or other evening plans.

The experience

You meet your guides at Whistler Village, get fitted into a harness and helmet, then ride a short van trip to the starting point. From there you zip a series of four lines through old growth forest, with soft twinkle lights marking the course as dusk sets in. The guides are with you throughout and talk about the location and the landscape you're moving through. If conditions align, you might catch the alpenglow on the mountains. If snow is falling, you'll zip through that instead.

The 2-hour window is built around the evening light: early enough that you're not out after dark, late enough that the day on the mountain or in the village doesn't cut into it. That timing leaves your night open for dinner and whatever else you have planned. The activity is fully guided, so there's no navigation or setup on your end beyond showing up ready to move.
