Over 70 suspended obstacles, from rope bridges to swinging platforms, all in the trees.

An aerial obstacle course is a three-hour activity where you climb, balance and navigate through over 70 suspended elements set high in the forest canopy, wearing a harness and guided by an experienced instructor. The course is designed for all skill levels, from kids aged 6 to adults, and operates in any weather. All equipment is provided, and children aged 6 to 15 need either a free adult chaperone on the ground or a paying adult participating alongside them.

The Experience

What does it feel like to step into a harness and leave the ground? The course starts with instruction on your equipment and how the obstacles work, then you move through a progressive series of challenges that test balance, strength and nerve. Rope bridges sway under your feet. Balance logs narrow as you cross them. Swinging features and elevated platforms demand timing and trust in the setup. The progression means you build confidence with each section rather than hitting the hardest obstacles first.

The course runs three hours total and stays open in rain or shine, so weather does not cancel the day. You move at your own pace through the obstacles — there is no race, no time pressure, and no requirement to complete every element. If an obstacle does not suit you, you skip it and move to the next. The guide stays present throughout, checking your harness and offering tips on technique. Groups stay small enough that the guide can watch everyone at once.

Children aged 6 to 15 must have supervision: either a free adult chaperone watching from the ground, or a paying adult on the course with them. Anyone 16 and older can participate without a chaperone, provided they meet the minimum reach of 5'11" (180 cm) and have at least moderate fitness. Closed-toed shoes with good grip are essential — the obstacles demand secure footing, and the harness system handles the fall protection.

What’s included

Top questions

What happens if I'm not sure I can finish the whole course?

The course is designed so you move at your own pace and choose which obstacles to attempt. You can skip any element that does not feel right and move to the next one; there is no requirement to complete every obstacle, and the guide will not push you beyond what feels safe.

Can my 10-year-old do this without me on the course?

Children aged 6 to 15 need supervision, which can be either a free adult chaperone watching from the ground or a paying adult participating on the course alongside them. If you want to watch without climbing, the ground chaperone option is free.

What kind of fitness do I need for the aerial obstacle course?

The course asks for at least moderate physical fitness — you will be climbing, balancing and pulling yourself up on obstacles for three hours. The progressive design means easier sections come first, but the activity is sustained and involves upper body and core strength throughout.

Does the course run if it rains?

Yes, the course operates in all weather conditions. Rain does not close it, though it may make some obstacles more slippery. Wear clothes and shoes suited to wet conditions if rain is forecast.

What do I wear, and what shoes work?

Dress for the weather you expect — the canopy offers some shelter but not complete cover. Closed-toed shoes with secure grip are required; sneakers or hiking boots work well. Avoid loose clothing that could catch on obstacles.

How many obstacles are there, and what are they like?

The course features over 70 elements, including rope bridges, balance logs, swinging features and elevated platforms. They are arranged in a progressive series so you build skills and confidence as you move through them, rather than facing the hardest challenges first.
