YVR Skylynx operates a direct bus service between Vancouver City Centre (pickup at Hyatt Regency on Melville Street) and Whistler ski resort or Squamish, with stops at Creekside Village. Every bus includes free WiFi, an on-board restroom, extra legroom and a professional driver. The journey takes two hours. Arrive 15 minutes early at your pickup point to ensure prompt departure.

The experience

The bus leaves Vancouver City Centre from outside the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Melville Street, a short walk from Burrard Metro Station. You'll have two hours to settle in. The vehicle is air-conditioned, equipped with WiFi and an on-board restroom, so you can work, read or watch the Sea-to-Sky Highway unfold without stopping. The driver handles the mountain curves while you skip the stress of navigating unfamiliar roads or arranging a rental.

Whistler has two drop-off points: the Whistler Gateway loop next to the Visitor Centre, or Creekside Village near Legends Hotel, depending on where you're staying. If Squamish is your destination instead, the bus stops at the Squamish Adventure Centre on Loggers Lane. The schedule runs frequently enough that you can book your outbound trip now and choose your return departure time later: YVR Skylynx will email you to confirm it before your trip.

Where exactly do I get picked up in Vancouver?

Can I bring skis or a snowboard on the bus?

Yes. One set of skis or snowboard per person travels free. Additional sets are charged $15 per trip. You're also allowed one large piece of luggage and one piece of hand luggage included.
