The experience

The minivan picks you up and heads out with a guide who speaks English, stopping first at the Halifax Citadel: an old fort in the city centre where you get 15 minutes to photograph the views. From there, the route takes you through Halifax Public Gardens, where you walk among roses and other flowering plants, then continues to Peggy's Cove to see the lighthouse built in 1960 and the ocean beyond it. The final stop is Fairview Lawn Cemetery, the Titanic cemetery, before returning to Halifax.
