The experience

The session starts with a safety briefing and equipment rundown, then your group moves through different play areas where animators explain each scenario before you start. Guides stay present as players or supervisors to keep everyone safe and having fun. You'll rotate through 15 different game setups across 4 kinds of terrain (12 total play areas, with 4 of them lit for evening play), so the action changes with each round.

All gear is provided: mask, camouflage suit, paintball marker, unlimited CO2, neck guard, gloves, hat and ammunition belt. The paintballs are formulated to work in cold weather, and anti-fog masks prevent the visibility problem that usually stops winter play. You get 200 balls in your two-hour slot, which covers 3 to 5 games depending on scenario length. If you want more ammunition, additional balls can be bought on site. You'll play with your own group and possibly with others who booked the same time slot.

The paintball centre is open year-round, so there's no season when it closes. If you don't have a car or are staying elsewhere in the region, note that transport to and from the centre is not included in the package. Plan your own ride or ask about options when you book.
