The experience
The tour departs downtown Toronto near Ripley's Aquarium and heads toward Niagara Falls with Micko providing commentary on the drive. Your first stop is Maple Leaf Place, where you sample rare Ontario maple products (syrup, fudge, taffy), and get a photo with the world's largest carved moose. From there, the day unfolds around the Falls themselves: you'll see the Whirlpool Rapids, the largest counter-clockwise whirlpool, and stop at the Floral Clock, a living botanical timepiece built into the landscape. The Robert Moses Power Station appears as you pass, a chance to photograph human engineering against the river's scale.
The centerpiece is your choice of two experiences, both included in the tour price. The Hornblower Cruises (May through October) take you onto the water to feel the mist and hear the roar as you approach the Horseshoe Falls from the base: tickets are purchased directly from Micko. Outside the cruise season, or if you prefer, the Skylon Tower offers a 775-foot vantage point with indoor and outdoor observation decks overlooking the Falls, the river, and the surrounding landscape. Both options give you a different angle on the same natural force. Which one you choose shapes how you experience the day.
You'll pass through Niagara-on-the-Lake en route and have numerous photo stops built into the itinerary. The tour runs about nine and a half hours total. Micko handles the logistics. He can suggest lunch spots along the way, though you're on your own for the meal itself. The vehicle is air-conditioned, bottled water is provided, and the tour skips lines when possible at the attractions. Micko speaks English and Hungarian.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English and Hungarian.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (3 to 12 years); Infant (under 3): free.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
Can I get close to the Horseshoe Falls on the Hornblower Cruise, or do you stay far from the edge?
The Hornblower Cruises approach the Horseshoe Falls directly from the water, close enough that you'll feel the mist on your face and hear the thunderous roar. The boat takes you to the base of the Falls, giving you a perspective you cannot get from the shore or from the Skylon Tower observation decks.
What's the difference between choosing the Hornblower Cruise and the Skylon Tower for this tour?
The Hornblower Cruises (available May to October) put you on the water at the foot of the Falls. The Skylon Tower gives you a high vantage point 775 feet above, with indoor and outdoor decks to view the Falls, river, and surrounding landscape. Both are included in the tour price. You pick one at checkout based on whether you want the water-level or aerial perspective.
Is lunch included, or do I need to bring my own food?
Lunch is not included, but Micko will suggest restaurants along the route. You'll have time to eat on your own during the day.
What exactly do you taste at Maple Leaf Place?
Maple Leaf Place offers samples of Ontario maple products: maple syrup, maple fudge, and maple taffy, plus Belgian chocolate. You also get a photo opportunity with the world's largest carved moose on the property.
How much time do you spend at each stop, or is it mostly driving?
The tour is structured around multiple photo stops and experiences rather than long stays at any single location. You'll have time at Maple Leaf Place for tasting and photos, the Whirlpool Rapids and Floral Clock for snapshots, and then your main experience (either the cruise or the Skylon Tower), which takes up a significant portion of the afternoon. The full day is nine and a half hours from start to finish.
