The experience

You arrive at the boat launch at a time the operator confirms after booking, go through a safety briefing, sign waivers, get fitted with a personal flotation device, and board. The guide handles the boat while you fish from it, moving between Lake Revelstoke, Three Valley, Upper Arrow Lake and the Columbia River depending on conditions that morning. Rods, reels and tackle come with you. If you need a fishing license for the water you're on, you can add one when you book.

The trip runs four hours total. Glacier-capped mountains line the shoreline, and wildlife spotting is a real possibility as you fish. The operator photographs and videos the day so you leave with digital copies to share, not just the catch, but the landscape itself.

Cold weather clothing, sunscreen and sunglasses are essential. The operator will email or call after you book to confirm what else to bring and which water conditions mean which launch point. Service animals are allowed on board.
