The experience
The tour leaves Edmonton and heads into Banff National Park on Day 1, stopping first at Lake Louise: one of Canada's most famous lakes, known for its turquoise water and the Rocky Mountains rising behind it. You have free time to walk the lakeshore and find photo spots with your guide's help. From there, the route continues to Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, where you can walk to the Rockpile viewpoint for the panoramic view the lake is known for, or explore the shoreline at your own pace. The private van means no schedule pressure and no other groups competing for space.
Day 1 also includes Banff Town itself (a mountain village where you can explore Banff Avenue, shop, and eat lunch on your own time) plus two shorter stops: Bow Falls, a powerful waterfall near town where you walk to a viewing area, and Surprise Corner, which overlooks the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and the Bow River. On Day 2, you head to Johnston Canyon, one of the park's most popular walking trails, where pathways built into the canyon walls lead to waterfalls and rock formations. The walk is easy and suitable for most travelers. After that comes Lake Minnewanka, a large glacial lake less crowded than the famous ones, where you can walk the shoreline and photograph mountain reflections. The return to Edmonton follows the Bow Valley Parkway, a scenic drive through the Canadian Rockies with wildlife viewing and photo stops along the way.
The vehicle is a brand-new luxury Volkswagen ID. Buzz electric van with high-comfort seats and large windows, designed for quiet travel and panoramic views. Hotel pickup and drop-off in Edmonton are included, as are park entrance fees and bottled water. Meals and accommodation in Banff are not included, so you choose where to stay and eat. The tour is fully private (only your group travels in the van with your guide), and you can contact the operator before the tour if you want to customize the itinerary.

Is this one for you?A private tour means only your group travels in the van, so there's no waiting for other travelers or adjusting to a shared schedule. This suits anyone who wants the flexibility to linger at a lake or skip a stop without affecting others, and who prefers traveling with a guide in a comfortable vehicle rather than driving themselves.
