The Experience

The day starts with hotel pickup in a Lexus from your Phnom Penh location, a drive of roughly 1.5 hours along Russian Federation Boulevard to reach the range. Your driver will meet you at your hotel with a name sign and handle the journey while you settle in. Once you arrive at the outdoor range nestled in the hills, the 1.5-hour shooting session begins with a safety briefing and one-on-one guidance from instructors trained in military weapons handling.

You choose which weapons to fire from the licensed arsenal: assault rifles like the AK47 and M16, precision options including the 7.62 sniper rifle, handguns (Glock), shotguns, or heavier equipment such as the 50 caliber, M79, or rocket launcher. Each weapon is fully licensed and operated only under close supervision. You'll wear full protective gear throughout. Solo travelers, couples, friends and families all shoot; those who prefer to watch or photograph can do so from secure viewing areas while others take their turn.

After the session ends, your driver is waiting to take you back to your hotel, completing the round trip. The weapon costs—whatever you choose to fire—are paid directly at the range and not included in the transport and instruction package. This is a short excursion from central Phnom Penh but the kind of story most travelers don't get to tell from Cambodia.
