The Royal Palace stands behind walls of pale stone in the center of the city, and you'll see it early in the tour—the stately columns and golden roofs visible even from the street. The genocide sites are harder, and they ask something different of you: they're about bearing witness to a recent history that shaped the country you're walking through.
