The Experience

Three and a half hours on foot through São Paulo's downtown, walking where the most important buildings stand—Teatro Municipal, the Copan building and the streets around them—but the point is not sightseeing. Midway through, you take a break for traditional Brazilian coffee or tea and look at photos together—a chance to get feedback and see what the guide and other people in the group are working on. You'll need a camera or smartphone and at least a moderate level of fitness to walk the downtown streets; public transportation options are nearby if you need a break.
