If you're traveling with an infant or small child, baby seats can be hired for $10 USD. The drive takes between two and three hours depending on traffic and which airport you're heading to. A Portuguese-speaking driver is standard. If you need English, that service costs 20% extra.

The waiting time is built in: two hours free at the port, one hour at the airport, or fifteen minutes at your hotel. If your flight is delayed or your ship runs late, you have that cushion before any additional charges apply.
