The experience

The speedboat leaves Vila do Abraão Port at 9:30am and heads to Caxadaço first. A 15-meter beach with emerald water tucked away from the main sailing routes. Those willing to climb the rock trail can photograph the panoramic view toward Lopes Mendes. From there you move to Parnaioca, a larger beach where a river meets the sand and forms a small lagoon, then to Aventureiro, where a fallen coconut palm has become one of Ilha Grande's signature photo spots. Each stop gives you 40 to 60 minutes to swim, explore or rest.

Meros is the snorkeling stop. A natural aquarium where you can see corals, fish, turtles and starfish. A diving mask and snorkel are available to rent for about 20 Brazilian reals if you don't bring your own. The final beach is Maguariquessaba, calmer and good for a last swim, a dive or watching for turtles near the pier. This is also where you can catch the sunset and grab lunch if you want it (not included in the tour price). The boat returns you to Vila do Abraão Port by day's end.

The guide speaks either English or Portuguese depending on which option you choose at checkout. You'll have water and a cooler with ice for your drinks throughout the day, plus safety equipment and floating devices. Bring a swimsuit, towel, light clothes and a coat. Snacks and fruit are welcome. Arrive 10 minutes before departure, and note that the exact start time and route shift based on tide and weather. The operator will confirm the details when you reconfirm your booking.
