The experience

The bus runs a fixed loop through both cities, stopping at Mini Mundo (a miniature park with replicas scaled down about 24 times), Lago Negro and Lake Joaquina Rita Bier, the artisanal chocolate factory, and the Italian-Portuguese-German immigrant square in Gramado's center. In Canela, the route passes Caracol Waterfall (a 131-meter drop through basalt rock and the second most visited spot in southern Brazil) Mundo a Vapor (a theme park of steam-era machine replicas), the Canela Automobile Museum, Campos de Canella Station (the revitalized railway hub now a shopping and dining center), and Florybal Magic Park Land with its 7D cinema and over 40 family attractions. The bus also stops at the Wax Museum, the Egyptian Museum, Pinheiro Grosso Park (home to one of the world's largest Araucaria trees), a NASA experience space, and Hollywood Dream Cars, a museum of classic American vehicles from the 1920s and 1960s.

You board and exit at any stop along the route without advance notice. The guide travels with you and speaks Portuguese, with audio in Spanish and English also available. A 1-day pass covers the full loop once. A 2 or 3-day pass lets you ride the same route again on your second or third day, getting off at different stops or spending longer at the ones that held you. Discounts apply at participating shops and attractions throughout both cities, and the bus is wheelchair accessible. You meet at Brocker Center Store on Avenida das Hortênsias downtown. The bus departs at 9 a.m., and you make your own way to the meeting point.

Tickets to individual attractions (Mini Mundo, Caracol Park, the museums, Florybal) are not included in your pass and are purchased separately at each stop. The pass covers the bus ride, the guide, the audio options and the merchant discounts only.

Top questions

Can children come?

Yes. Ticket types: Child (6 to 12 years); Infant (under 6): free.

Can I get off the bus at Mini Mundo and then board again later to visit Caracol Waterfall?

Yes. The hop-on hop-off format means you exit whenever you want and board the next bus on the same route to continue to other stops. There's no limit to how many times you board across your pass days.

What is Caracol Waterfall like, and how much time do people usually spend there?

Caracol Waterfall is a 131-meter drop through basalt rock surrounded by dense forest, and it's the second most visited tourist spot in southern Brazil. The park also has the Escada da Perna Bamba stairs and Vila do Artesanato (a crafts village with affordable local products), so visitors typically spend a few hours exploring the grounds and walking the trails.

Does the 3-day pass mean I have to use all three days in a row, or can I spread them out?

The reference material specifies that the pass is valid for day use, and you can use it across three separate days within your travel window. Confirm the exact validity period (consecutive or spread out) with the operator when you book, as the voucher will detail the specific terms for your purchase.

Is lunch or food included on the bus tour?

Food and drinks are not included in the pass. You'll find restaurants, cafes and shops at stops like Campos de Canella Station, the immigrant square in Gramado, and throughout both cities where you can purchase meals during your stops.

What language does the guide speak, and are there other language options?

The live guide on the bus speaks Portuguese. Audio-guide commentary is available in Portuguese, Spanish and English, so you can follow along in your preferred language through the bus's audio system.

Do I need to book tickets to attractions like the Wax Museum or Florybal in advance?

Attraction tickets are not included in your bus pass and are purchased separately at each stop when you arrive. Your pass includes discounts at participating shops and attractions, so you'll pay less than the full price, but you buy the tickets on-site rather than in advance.
