The experience

German Night centers on two buffets. The dinner spread features Eisbein (pork knee), Kassler (smoked lump), Bockwurst and traditional Sauerkraut, prepared using recipes brought by German immigrants generations ago. After the savory course, you move to the colonial coffee buffet: over 130 varieties of hot and cold dishes, from German Torta to Apfelstrudel, the classic apple strudel. Coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice and mineral water flow throughout the evening.

While you eat, the Typical German Band and Folklore Dance Group perform continuously, filling the room with the music and movement that have defined German-Brazilian culture in this mountain region. The performance is not a separate show you watch from a distance. It animates the dining space itself, so the celebration unfolds around you as you taste. The whole event runs about three and a half hours in an air-conditioned venue.

Pickup is included in the booking. A Portuguese-speaking guide accompanies the group. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and families with infants can bring a pram or stroller. Small children sit on an adult's lap at the table.
