The experience

The tour starts after your pickup and moves through the island in sequence: Sancho Beach first, where you descend the stairs at a set time, stay on the sand, then climb back up. From there the route passes a viewpoint with views across the region, then Praia do Leão: a spot known for the sound that gives it its name and for photographs. The middle of the day takes you to the Porto region, where a small chapel sits at the top of a hill overlooking the Atlantic, then to the Air France viewpoint at the island's tip: a place built for photos.
