The experience

The tour starts in Barra Sul, where you walk the Jetty, Pier and Passarela: the waterfront promenade that leads to Igreja Santo Amaro. From there you board a cable car to Laranjeiras Station at Unipraias Park, where the Mata Atlântica environmental station sits among shops, restaurants and bars. The cable car returns you to Barra Sul around 4:30 PM, then the route follows Avenida Atlântica along the city's edge toward Barra Norte.

Barra Norte brings you to Estrada da Rainha for city views and photos, then to the Cristo Luz Panoramic Complex at the highest point in the city. The monument itself (a Christ figure that illuminates in different colors) anchors a complex with a small museum, souvenir shops, restaurants and a gazebo overlooking the coast. You have 40 minutes on site. The complex stays open until 7:30 PM. The Oceanic Aquarium, a modern facility with over 100 species across 25 environments, is also part of the route.

Hotel pickup is included, and your guide provides live commentary throughout the day. Children under a certain age can ride in a stroller, and the pace suits all fitness levels. Souvenir photos are available to purchase on site.
