A 3-hour private kitesurfing lesson in Bonaire with a qualified IKO instructor who teaches from a support boat alongside you. Instruction is available in English, German or Dutch. The minimum age is 12.

The experience

The lesson begins on the beach with safety instruction and the fundamentals of kite handling. After roughly an hour of ground work, you'll enter the water with your instructor in a boat that stays close by, allowing constant communication and real-time feedback as you practice kite control and bodydragging. The instructor may introduce water starts (the moment you transition from dragging to riding the board) depending on your progress and comfort level.

All equipment is new and maintained to current safety standards, and every instructor follows International Kiteboarding Organization methodology. The boat-based setup means your instructor can watch your technique from the water and adjust your form without losing sight of you, which changes how quickly you pick up the movements.
