Rent a fully equipped Jetski with GPS fish finder, live well and rod holders to fish around Ambergris Caye for four hours. You'll travel to three or four fishing areas along the reef and in spots with limited boat access, carrying all your gear and drinks on the Jetski itself. A beach BBQ on a nearby island is optional after your catch.

The experience

You pick up a Jetski rigged for fishing (GPS Garmin fish finder, live well, multiple rod holders, cooler with bottled water and drinks built in), and ride out to the reef around Ambergris Caye. The Jetski gets you to three or four fishing zones in a four-hour window, including hidden areas where larger boats can't go. You fish from the Jetski itself, moving between spots quickly instead of waiting for a guide boat to motor over.

The gear stays with you the whole time: rods, tackle and a cooler of water are mounted on the Jetski so you don't have to manage a separate boat. A guide speaks English or Spanish and rides with you to navigate the fishing grounds and handle the route. After you've caught what you want, you can add a beach BBQ on one of the nearby islands.
