The experience
I didn’t expect to be so moved by a bunch of horses splashing around before breakfast, but there we were: standing on the sand at Pebbles Beach, watching these big, gentle animals wade right into the blue water like it was nothing. The air smelled salty and a bit grassy (maybe from the hay), and you could hear the handlers calling softly to their horses in that easy Bajan accent.
