The experience
The day starts in the tea valley: rows of green hillsides where you walk among the plants with your guide, who explains what grows here and why the landscape looks the way it does. From there you move into the tropical rain forest to see the biodiversity the region holds, then to a tribal community where you watch textile weaving and learn how the work happens. The guide takes you through each place at a pace that lets you ask questions and stop when something catches your eye.
A seven-layer tea stall is a stop on its own: the tea arrives in a glass where each layer of milk, condensed milk, and brewed tea stays visible and separate before you stir it. If you're there between December and February, the migratory bird center shows the species that move through the region in winter. The route connects these stops in sequence, so the day builds from the cultivated tea gardens outward into the forest and into the community itself.
