The experience
Fort Fincastle sits at the top of the island's most visited hill, where your guide walks you through the 66 limestone steps of Queen's Staircase carved by slaves in the 1700s, plus the Water Tower and the fort itself. The Graycliff Heritage Village holds the Ghost tunnels, a chocolate factory where you can taste, a cigar-rolling station and the world's third largest wine cellar. Your guide takes you through each one and pours samples if the timing works. Arawak Cay is the Fish Fry, a casual outdoor spot where conch salad and conch fritters are the thing to order, though you pay for whatever you eat.
The tour runs three hours, but you're not watching a clock. You decide when to move on from any stop, so if Fort Fincastle takes ninety minutes instead of thirty, that's your call. The distillery stop is a tasting stop (local rum and liquor), and the Graycliff tunnels and chocolate factory are hands-on, not a walkthrough. Your guide steers the conversation and knows the history. You steer the day.
You choose the vehicle at checkout: a Sprinter van, a Lux Sedan, an SUV or a full-size van. All come with air conditioning, bottled water, soft drinks and child car seats if you need them. Pickup is included, so the guide collects you from your hotel or your ship and brings you back when the three hours are done.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What is the Queen's Staircase at Fort Fincastle?
The Queen's Staircase is a set of 66 steps carved directly into solid limestone rock by enslaved workers in the 1700s. It's the most photographed feature at Fort Fincastle and your guide walks you up and through the fort itself.
Can I skip attractions and just visit the ones I want?
Yes. The tour is fully customizable, so you tell your guide which stops matter to you and which ones to skip. You can also ask to visit places not on the standard list if your guide knows them.
Is food included in the tour price?
No. The Fish Fry at Arawak Cay is the final stop, and conch salad and fritters are what to order there, but you pay for whatever you eat and drink. Bottled water and soft drinks are provided during the tour itself.
How does the three-hour tour work if I want to spend more time at one stop?
You decide how long to stay at each attraction. If you want to spend two hours at Graycliff and skip the distillery, that's your choice. The three-hour window is the total time with your guide and vehicle.
What's included in the tour price?
Private transportation in your chosen vehicle, bottled water, soft drinks, child car seats if needed and an air-conditioned ride. Your guide is included. Food, drinks at the distillery and any gratuities are separate.
