The experience

The coach picks you up from your Perth hotel and heads north. The first stop is Yanchep National Park, where you'll see kangaroos and koalas in their habitat before moving on to the Pinnacles Desert: a landscape of thousands of limestone pillars rising from golden sand that looks like another planet. You walk through this terrain at an easy pace, taking in the scale and strangeness of it without rushing.

After the desert, the tour stops in Cervantes, a coastal town, for your included fish and chips lunch. Then it's on to Swan Valley, where you sample some of the region's known producers (chocolate, nougat and gourmet nuts) giving you a taste of what the area is known for beyond wine.
