The experience
The day starts at Krinklewood Estate by 11:00 AM, a hidden gem ringed by Provençal gardens where peacocks roam. You'll spend an hour and a half here: long enough to taste wines slowly, pair them with locally sourced cheese and charcuterie if you want, and actually absorb the place instead of rushing through it. At noon you move to 1813, a boutique cellar door set among the vines of Tinonee Vineyard Estate, where you can taste in their air-conditioned room or by the fire on the terrace depending on the season, with views of the sandstone formation called Yellow Rock.
Lunch lands at 1:30 PM at Café Enzo, a Tuscan-inspired courtyard inside Peppers Creek Village on Broke Road. It's been a Hunter Valley institution since 1996, built on locally sourced, homemade cooking and generous plates: the kind of place where the atmosphere matters as much as the food. You order and pay on the day. Most dishes run $25–$45. After lunch comes Keith Tulloch Wine, an architecturally striking space with mountain views and sculpted lawns, where you'll taste their wines and have the option to add a boutique gin tasting at no extra charge. Before leaving, you can browse the on-site artisan chocolatier for handcrafted pieces. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, and you'll travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with bottled water for each guest.
The tour runs about six hours total. Cellar door venues may occasionally change on the day due to private events, but the operator works with a curated network of exceptional wineries to ensure seamless alternatives. The experience suits all fitness levels and requires a minimum age of 18.
