Sirromet Winery Tour and Tasting: 6 wines, lunch included
The barrel hall and production area are part of the walk, not just the tasting room.
A 3-hour winery tour at Sirromet on Gold Coast combines a 45-minute guided walk through the vineyard, barrel hall and production facility with a 45-minute tasting of 6 Granite Belt wines, followed by a 2-course lunch and glass of wine at Cellar Door. The guide is WSET-qualified and speaks English. Minimum age is 18; children must be accompanied by an adult.
Step-by-step itinerary
Winery tour, tasting, and lunch
- Tour Sirromet winery facility
- Taste 6 popular Granite Belt wines
- Enjoy 2-course lunch at Cellar door
- Relax with glass of Sirromet wine
- Take in rural property views
The Experience
The tour starts with a walk around Sirromet's working winery—through the vineyards, into the barrel hall, and past the production area where the wine is actually made. A qualified guide explains the winemaking process and the history of Queensland's Granite Belt region as you move through the facility. This is not a tasting-room-only visit; you're seeing the operation behind the wines you'll taste.
After the walk comes the tasting: six of Sirromet's most popular Granite Belt wines, poured and discussed over 45 minutes. Then you move to Cellar Door for lunch. The 2-course menu is premium-selected and paired with Italian emerging varietal wines, and you get a glass of Sirromet wine included. The Cellar Door overlooks the rural property and out toward Moreton Bay—the views are part of the experience, not an afterthought.
The whole thing runs three hours from start to finish. Service animals are welcome. If you have dietary requirements, let them know at booking.
