The Mossman River runs clear over granite boulders below, and if the weather holds, you can swim.

Lunch is a sit-down meal at a local restaurant featuring Australian produce—barramundi, steak, chicken, kangaroo or vegetarian options—in a rainforest setting. After eating, you board a guided one-hour wildlife cruise on the Daintree River, where crocodiles and other local animals move through the water. You'll cross the river itself on a cable ferry, then climb to Alexandra Lookout for views over the river delta and out to the Coral Sea. The final stop is Kulki Lookout at Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef; from there the drive back to Cairns begins.
