The experience

The session kicks off at 2pm, which means you can spend your morning at the beach and still make the tasting run. You'll travel by air-conditioned minivan to three of the local venues (Stone and Wood Brewery, Common People Brewing, Seven Mile Brewery, Lord Byron Distillery, Cape Byron Distillery or Wandana Brewery) with the exact lineup changing daily based on what's open. At each stop, you'll get guided tastings with tasting paddles, working through a large selection of beers and spirits on offer.

The 10-15 drinks across the three venues are all included, and if beer isn't your thing, you can substitute cider, wine, seltzer or ginger beer instead. Food is available for purchase at the breweries if you want to eat. The whole experience runs about 4.5 hours, and your driver will handle the route between venues and drop you back at your hotel or meeting point when you're done.

You can request specific breweries or distilleries when you book, and the operator will work them in if their opening hours allow. Larger groups over 50 people can be accommodated with advance notice: useful for bucks parties, hens nights or birthday groups.
