The Experience

You start with a full safety briefing and instruction from an expert guide who sizes up your comfort level and adjusts the pace to match it. Once you're familiar with the controls, you'll throttle out onto the protected waters and follow the guide's lead down the western bank of Bribie Island. The route covers 30 km of open water at speeds up to 55 kph, with the guide staying in constant contact through intercom headsets built into your helmet.

Lighthouse Reach, a local hideaway tucked into the waterway, is where the ride opens up. This is the freestyle area — the place where you get to feel the machine's agility and power in what the operator calls "hot laps."
