Your driver picks you up at your Angaston hotel or address in a private, air-conditioned vehicle and drives you through the wine region to Yalumba. The winery sits in the grounds where Samuel Smith founded it in 1849, and the day opens in the architecturally designed Wine Room with a short history of the Hill-Smith family who still run it. From there, a Yalumba Ambassador walks you through the property (the historic buildings, the renowned Cooperage, and the Signature Cellar with its distinctive Tank 11 & 12) before returning to the Wine Room for a tasting of the finest wines paired with a Cooper's Platter of local artisanal produce.
