The Experience

Charles collects you from your Barossa Valley accommodation and spends the full day introducing your group to wineries, landscapes and places he thinks you'll enjoy—no strangers on the bus, no large tour group setting the pace. The route is yours to shape: you can tell him which wine styles interest you, or leave the decisions to someone who lives here and knows which cellar doors are worth the stop. Seppeltsfield Wines may be on the itinerary depending on how the day unfolds, and you might also pass through the first European settlement in the valley, dating to 1842.

Wine tastings at scheduled cellar doors are included in the tour price, and bottled water travels with you throughout the day. At lunch, a generous charcuterie platter is served, with the option to taste at a winery during the stop if you want to keep exploring. The vehicle is air-conditioned, and the day runs about six hours door to door.
