The Experience
You board a purpose-built vessel on the Adelaide River and spend an hour watching saltwater crocodiles in their natural habitat. The guide teaches you how the crocodiles behave, what they eat, how they interact with the river ecosystem, and what makes them one of Australia's most formidable predators. The river is home to other wildlife too, and the guide points out what else lives alongside the crocs. Coffee or tea is included.
This is the only Indigenous-owned jumping crocodile cruise currently operating on the Adelaide River. The operation holds the first Animal Ethics Policy for crocodile interactions, endorsed by NT Parks & Wildlife, which means the way the guides work with the animals follows standards built around their welfare and the safety of everyone on board. The cruise is built around ecology and sustainability, not just the spectacle of the jump.
