The experience

A 4x4 safari van picks you up and climbs to the top of Cerro Archo, where you meet your licensed instructor pilot and get fitted into the paragliding harness. The setup takes time, but once you're airborne the flight lasts roughly 50 minutes: long enough to drift over the valleys and, if conditions hold, close enough to the mountain range to see the landscape shift beneath you. The instructor handles the flying. You experience Mendoza from a vantage point most visitors never reach.
