The experience
The ride starts in Benegas Park or Chacras de Coria and follows the quiet roads that wind through the heart of Mendoza's wine country. You'll pass old colonial mansions and modern villas set among vineyards and farmland, the landscape shifting between built heritage and working agriculture. The terrain is manageable, the tour suits all fitness levels, but you're on a bike for the full four hours, so a baseline comfort with cycling matters.
Three wineries punctuate the route, each with its own style. At the first two, you'll taste wines while the winemakers or staff explain their production process. The third winery is where the experience deepens: if you choose the optional lunch, the chef and sommelier design a menu around local flavors and pair it with the house wines, turning the meal into a guided tasting in itself. If you skip lunch, you still visit the winery and taste, then return by private transport. Either way, the ride ends there.
Private transportation is included to and from your hotel, and the bike and helmet come with the booking. A live guide in English or Spanish stays with the group throughout, translating not just words but the story of each vineyard and wine.

Is this one for you?The four-hour ride is steady but not strenuous, so it suits cyclists who are comfortable in the saddle for a morning but don't need flat terrain or frequent breaks. If you want to taste wines without a long day of hiking or standing, this one pairs movement with the tasting itself.
