The experience

Seven hours gives you time to move without rushing. A private chauffeur picks you up at your accommodation and drives you to Bodega Salentein in the Valle de Uco, where a guide (in English or Spanish) walks you through the vineyards and production areas before descending into the underground cava. You taste four wines there (the selection depends on what the cellar has available that day), and each one reflects the terroir of the region.

After the tasting, your chauffeur takes you to Vinicola La Azul for lunch. The three-course menu includes a starter, main dish and dessert, with wine poured throughout. Everything is made from local ingredients using traditional Mendocina recipes, and you eat surrounded by vineyards with views of the Cordillera de los Andes.
