The Experience

The swing itself is 95 meters long, anchored to the Victoria Falls Bridge. You're harnessed in, given the signal, and then you step off into a 70-meter drop before the rope catches and swings you out over the gorge in a massive arc. It's not a gradual acceleration—it's a genuine free fall first, then the swing. The whole sequence takes seconds but feels longer. After the swing, you have time to walk around the bridge area and use the Lookout Cafe, which sits right there with views of the falls and the gorge.

Transfers are included from hotels, bed-and-breakfasts and guest houses in Victoria Falls town, so you don't arrange your own transport. A live guide in English is there to explain the setup, check your harness, and answer questions before you go. The activity takes about an hour total. Public transportation options are also available if you prefer to make your own way to the bridge. Note that the operator retains the right to decline participation if they assess that someone—particularly a child—isn't able to manage the experience safely, so fitness matters here: you need at least a moderate level of physical fitness to do this.

Children from age 6 can participate, but a parent or guardian must be present to sign the indemnity form. There's no upper age limit. A tandem swing option is available if you ask for it when you book. The National Park Fee is separate and not included in the activity price.
