The experience
Three hours on Anglesey's coastline means you're in the water and off the rocks for the bulk of the day. You'll jump from ledges into the secret coves that sit underneath the sea cliffs, swim between them, and scramble over the terrain in between. The guide picks which of the area's coasteering locations suits your group best, so a family with younger kids gets a different stretch than a stag group looking for bigger jumps. Jumping itself is never compulsory. You can swim and scramble the whole way if you prefer.
Helmets and buoyancy aids come with you. Wetsuits (5mm with hood) are provided in autumn and winter, along with wetsuit socks and a vest. The guide is there the whole time, speaking English, and they'll point out the rockpools as you go. They're packed with sea life if you pause to look. Bring your own trainers or boots for the scrambling sections and a towel or changing robe for after.
What’s included
- Helmet and buoyancy aid for the entire activity.
- 5mm wetsuit with hood, wetsuit socks and wetsuit vest (provided autumn and winter).
- live guide in English throughout the three hours.
- activity tailored to your group's fitness level and preferences.

Is this one for you?You do the jumping, swimming and scrambling yourself with the guide present. This is not a spectator activity. It suits families with kids from age 4 (with a parent alongside) and adult groups alike, because the guide picks the coastline and challenge level to match who's there. Moderate fitness is needed. It's not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or during pregnancy.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Youth (4 to 17 years). Children under 4 can't be included in the booking.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
Can I do coasteering on Anglesey if I've never jumped off rocks before?
Jumping is optional on every trip, so you can swim and scramble the entire three hours without jumping at all. The guide sets the challenge level for your group and will show you the options: bigger jumps are available, but they're never required.
What's the sea like in the coves where we'll be swimming?
The coves lie underneath the sea cliffs and are hidden from the open water, so they're more sheltered than the exposed coast. You'll see rockpools full of sea life as you move between them, and the guide will point out what's living there.
Can my four-year-old come coasteering on Anglesey?
Children from age 4 are welcome as long as a parent or legal guardian is with them the whole time. The guide tailors the day to the group's abilities, so families with younger kids will get a gentler route than adult groups.
What do I need to bring besides the wetsuit and helmet?
Bring trainers or boots for scrambling over the rocks, a towel or changing robe for after, and a change of clothes. The operator provides the helmet, buoyancy aid, and wetsuit. Everything else is your responsibility.
How does the guide decide which part of Anglesey's coast we'll use?
The guide operates across all the coasteering locations in the area and will pick the stretch that matches your group's fitness level and what you want from the day, whether that's big jumps, gentle swimming, or a mix of both.
