The experience
You get picked up at your hotel in Mui Ne or Phan Thiet and head first to Poshanu Cham Tower, a Champa Kingdom structure with centuries of history built into its stone. From there the route passes Phan Thiet's fishing harbor, where you stop to watch the boats and photograph the working port before moving inland toward the mountain.
Ta Cu Mountain is the centerpiece. At the cable car station, you board for the ascent, then climb roughly 100 steps from the top to reach the reclining Buddha: a 49-meter statue carved into the mountainside. Along the way you pass smaller temples and statues. The views from the summit look back down toward the city and the coast. The cable car brings you back down the same way.
On the return to your hotel, the tour stops at a working dragon fruit farm where the guide explains how the fruit is grown and harvested locally. You arrive back at your hotel after about five hours total. The tour includes the cable car round trip, entrance tickets to each site, one bottle of water per person, and a private vehicle with an English-speaking guide.
