Scuba diving in Phu Quoc for certified divers combines two dives at sites chosen daily for visibility and marine life, with a certified English-speaking instructor, all gear, lunch and hotel pickup. The full day runs 8 hours from pickup through return, with 40–50 minutes underwater at each site and a surface interval between dives. Small groups keep the experience intimate and safe.

The experience

The day starts with pickup at your hotel between 7:30 and 8:50, then a shared van transfer to the pier on either the south or north coast of Phu Quoc. By 9:30 you're at the first dive site. A dive briefing happens on the boat before you kit up (BCD, wetsuit, mask, fins, weight belt and cylinder all provided), and enter the water. The first dive runs 40–50 minutes at a depth between 6 and 30 meters, adjusted to your experience level and the instructor's guidance. You surface around 10:30, and the boat moves to the second site while you rest and have water, tea or coffee.

The second dive follows the same rhythm, starting around 11:30. By 12:30 you're back on the boat for lunch (included, served while you're still anchored), and then the return journey to the harbor. Drop-off at your hotel happens by 2:30 p.m. The two sites rotate based on what the dive masters see that day: visibility, current and what marine life is active determine which reefs you visit, so no two trips follow the same underwater route.

Your guide is a certified dive master or instructor fluent in English, and the group stays small enough that you're not fighting for the instructor's attention or competing for space at the reef. All the gear stays with the boat, so you pack nothing but a towel and sunscreen. Children from age 8 can join if they're comfortable in the water. The operator adjusts depth and time underwater to match their certification level.
