The drive to Mui Ne takes three hours each way, leaving Ho Chi Minh City early and arriving back around 8 pm. The four stops unfold in sequence: first the Fairy Stream, a narrow channel running through red sand that locals call a mini version of the Red Canyon; then the fishing village, where you walk among the boats and watch fishermen at work along the shoreline; then the Red Sand Dunes themselves, a striking expanse of deep red. The White Sand Dunes come last and are the centerpiece — described as the most beautiful place in Mui Ne.
