The Experience
The day starts with pickup from your hotel and a drive to Datanla waterfalls, where you ride a roller coaster down through a pine forest to the base of the fall and try the longest zipline in Southeast Asia. From there you move to an outdoor clay sculpture exhibition that traces Da Lat's history from its early days through the city's development and local heritage. The Crazy House—one of the world's ten most bizarre buildings—comes next: concrete curves and twists inspired by Vietnamese folklore and French architecture create a genuinely disorienting space to walk through, built as a bold departure from 1990s social norms.
After the Crazy House, the tour splits. You either head to Fresh Garden, one of Da Lat's largest flower fields, where you photograph miniature landscapes—a windmill, flower house, green lake with pine forest, a waterfall backdrop, European gate, ice cave—or you choose Dalat Flower Highlands instead, a pine forest with Eden Garden roses, a thousand-year-old sycamore tree, and the Greenline Luge Kart, a real-life go-kart-luge hybrid with slopes, corners and tunnels. The Luge Kart was previously called Mario Kart and is the first and only one in Da Lat. Both options let you spend time in the landscape and take the photos that matter to you.
The tour also includes a stop at Mongo Land, an outdoor amusement park with the Rainbow Slide—the longest dry tubing slide in Da Lat—plus grass sliding, archery, and a petting zoo with alpacas, capybaras, rabbits, goats and camels. You can rent Mongolian or Tibetan costumes for photos among yurts and flower gardens. The day ends with a coffee plantation visit where they roast on-site; you can buy their specialty weasel coffee and other products from the shop. Throughout, you travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with a professional English-speaking guide, and water is provided.
