The experience

You start with a 9 am pickup from your hotel in Buon Ma Thuot and travel by air-conditioned van to Lak Lake, arriving around 10:30. Before heading to the waterfall, you spend time walking around the lake and visiting M'Lieng and Jun villages, where you see how the M'nong people live and work. This is not a rushed stop. The itinerary gives you real time to move through the villages and talk with your guide about the local culture.

At 11:30 you eat lunch in Yang Tao Village: a proper M'nong meal with local specialties, cooked the way the community prepares it. Then you move to Chu Yang Sin National Park and begin the hike. The walk to Bim Bip Waterfall is 3 km through forest, and once you reach it you can swim in the natural pools, rest on the rocks, and sit by the cascading water. There is no schedule pushing you out. You have time to actually be there.

At 3 pm you hike back to the van for the return drive to Buon Ma Thuot, arriving around 4 pm. The tour includes travel insurance, bottled water throughout the day, and the services of a guide who speaks English or Vietnamese, so you understand what you are seeing and where you are going.
