The experience

The cable car does the heavy lifting here. Your guide walks you through Le Jardin D'Amour, the flower gardens, and explains the 27-meter Shakyamuni statue at Linh Ung Pagoda before you have time to wander on your own. The route also passes Tinh Tam Garden, the 100-year-old pomelo tree, and Quan Am Pavilion, each with its own story a local knows.

After the cable car descent, you head to Nui Chua Peak for the French Village (a replica medieval town with period architecture), and the entrance to Fantasy Park. If your option includes it, you can ride the Love Wheel, Ghost House, Skiver Pilot, and over 90 free games, or take the Slide of Tube Car, a free-ride adventure. The 5D wild west, 4D death race, 3D mega 360-degree theater, and Freefall Tower are there if you want them. You're not locked into a schedule. Lunch is a buffet with vegetarian choices if you've selected that option, and mineral water travels with you in the car.

The day ends back in Da Nang with a stop at the Dragon Bridge on the return, so you see the city's modern landmarks after the mountain. A nine-hour tour means you leave early and return by late afternoon. Pickup and drop-off happen at your hotel, and the guide speaks English throughout.

What is the Golden Bridge actually like when you get there?

The Golden Bridge sits 1,400 meters above sea level on Ba Na Hill. It's a pedestrian walkway suspended between two massive stone hands, designed to look like a silk strip floating in the clouds. The altitude creates an optical illusion of the bridge appearing to hover, and from there you see the panorama of Da Nang City below. It's a short walk on the cable car platform, not a long hike.
