From there, you ride through Bac Sum Pass and Chin Khoanh Pass toward Dong Van, passing limestone rock formations and rice fields, and visit the Hmong King's Palace in Sa Phin before a local dinner. That night you sleep in a hotel in central Dong Van.
Day two centers on Ma Pi Leng Pass, known for its steep cliffs and river views, where you stop to swim at a waterfall and walk the Sky Path for views of the Nho Que river valley. The route passes through Meo Vac and smaller villages before reaching Du Gia, a homestay set in rice fields where you stay the second night. On the final morning, you swim again at Du Gia Waterfall, then ride back through Lung Tam village and quieter mountain roads to Ha Giang by 4 pm, where you board a limousine bus back to Hanoi, arriving in the Old Quarter by late evening.
The group stays under 15 people. You ride as a passenger with an easy rider (a local driver who knows the roads), and the guide speaks English. The tour includes all fuel, the immigration permit required for foreigners in Ha Giang, three nights of accommodation (one on the bus, one in a hotel, one in a homestay), all meals except drinks, and transport both ways from Hanoi.
