The day starts at the Cultural Village, where a guide walks you through traditional ceremonies and fire-walking rituals that have shaped island life for centuries. From there you move to Eden on the River, a forested stretch with cascading streams where you can walk the trails and cool off in the water. The Turtle Sanctuary comes next: a chance to see the creatures up close without the distance of a tank or enclosure. By midday you're at Blue Lagoon, a natural pool ringed by greenery where the water stays clear enough to see the bottom. Most people swim here, though sitting on the bank and watching is just as valid.

The itinerary also includes a stop at Hideaway Island for snorkeling over coral reefs and the option to send a postcard from the world's only underwater post office: a novelty that tends to stick with travelers more than the logistics suggest it should. A rope swing hangs from a tree over a natural pool if you want the adrenaline of letting go and dropping into fresh water. Seasonal fruit refreshments are provided.
