Ziplining on the Menominee River: 5 lines through the trees
Five zip lines strung platform to platform along the river, 1900 feet of canopy crossing
Ziplining on the Menominee River is a 2-hour activity where you operate five zip lines moving platform to platform through the trees with a professional guide and up to 8 other guests. You start with ground school instruction on safety and technique, then zip across 1900 feet of course that runs along the river. All safety gear (helmet, gloves and full body harness) is provided.
The experience
Ground school comes first: your guide teaches you how to move safely and confidently before you clip in. Then you step onto the first platform and zip across to the next, repeating the sequence through five lines that carry you over 1900 feet total. The course runs along the Menominee River, so the landscape shifts as you move through the canopy. Your guide stays with the group the whole way, coaching technique and pacing the run so everyone moves at a rhythm that works.
The whole outing takes 2 hours from start to finish. Groups stay under nine people (you, up to eight others, and the guide), so the platforms don't get crowded and nobody waits long between lines. Children as young as 7 can participate, and the activity suits all fitness levels. The only hard requirement is that you weigh at least 55 pounds to ride safely in the harness.

Is this one for you?Groups of up to eight work well here because the small size keeps the platforms uncrowded and the pace steady. If you're traveling with family or friends and want everyone moving together through the same course, this size holds the group intact without long waits between lines.

Top questions

Yes. Ticket types: Youth (7 to 11 years). Children under 7 can't be included in the booking.
What do I actually do on a zip line? Is it just hanging there?
You operate the zip line yourself using the harness and braking system your guide teaches you in ground school. The guide shows you the technique before your first run and stays with the group throughout.
How many zip lines are on this course?
Five zip lines make up the course, each one carrying you from one platform to the next. Together they cover 1900 feet of zipping through the trees along the Menominee River.
Can my 8-year-old do this?
Children from age 7 are welcome. The only weight requirement is a minimum of 55 pounds to ride safely in the harness, so check that your child meets that threshold before booking.
What's included in the price?
All necessary safety gear is provided: helmet, gloves, and full body zip line harness. A professional guide leads the group through ground school and the entire course. Gratuities are not included.
