The experience
The nine ziplines total over a mile of cable strung across the forest canopy. You start with four shorter runs to get the feel of the harness and the platform, moving along the Kansas River Bluffs where the terrain is gentler. Once you've settled into the rhythm, you climb 77 steps to the top of the tallest tower and step onto the quarter-mile zipline: the longest and fastest in the region. From there, five more lines connect platform to platform through the trees, each one building on the last.
The finale is a free-fall zipline where you drop before the cable catches and swings you down. Your guide stays in charge of all the safety work: harnessing, checking your weight (between 70 and 275 pounds), and managing the rigging at each platform. You show up, get suited up, and zip. The whole thing takes three hours and stays capped at eight people, so the group never feels crowded on the platforms or waiting between lines.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English and Portuguese.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
Do I need zipline experience to do this?
No. Your guide handles all the technical setup and safety checks. The first four ziplines are warm-up runs to get comfortable with the harness and the sensation before you move to the longer lines.
What are the weight and fitness requirements?
You must weigh between 70 and 275 pounds to zipline. Moderate physical fitness is needed because you'll hike up to the tower platforms and move between them, though the guide supports you throughout.
How high is the tallest zipline?
The tower stands 65 feet tall, and from the top you can see across to downtown Kansas City and Lawrence. The quarter-mile zipline itself spans horizontally across the forest rather than dropping steeply.
What's included in the price?
All zipline equipment (harness, helmet, and rigging) is provided. The guide is included. The experience covers all nine lines and the hikes between platforms.
How many people go at once?
Groups max out at eight participants, so you're never waiting in a long line or sharing platforms with a crowd.
