Wine Craft in Laguna Beach is a 90-minute self-guided activity where you taste five custom-curated wines from around the world while working on a hands-on craft project (painting, wind chimes, or seasonal crafts) at your own pace. The experience is wheelchair accessible, open to guests 21 and older, and suited to all fitness levels. You pick your craft medium when you arrive.

The experience

You arrive at Wine Craft and choose your craft: painting, wind chimes, or seasonal projects with different materials. While you work, you taste through a flight of five wines selected and customized for the session. There's no instruction beyond what you need to get started, so the pace is entirely yours: some people linger over a single wine and one brushstroke, others move through both quickly. The wines rotate, so the selection changes. The craft options shift with the seasons.

The setup is built around doing both at once. You're not watching a demonstration or sitting through a lecture. You're holding a brush or working with materials in one hand and a wine glass in the other, which is the whole point: the two things feed each other. The friendly atmosphere means you can ask questions if you want to know more about a wine or need a technique tip, but the experience doesn't require any prior knowledge of either wine or art.
