Two and a half hours gets you from the city to terrain for every level.

Round-trip or one-way coach transport from New York City to Windham Mountain with a live guide aboard Urban Sherpa's luxury motor coaches. The bus leaves from pickup locations in the city and returns on the same day. You book your lift ticket, rentals and lessons directly with the mountain. Choose round-trip for a full day on the slopes or one-way if you're arranging your own return.

The experience

Urban Sherpa runs the bus to Windham from multiple pickup points across New York City, with four departure options: round-trip or one-way on weekdays, and round-trip or one-way on weekends. The drive is two and a half hours each way. You handle your own lift ticket, rental gear and lesson booking through Windham's website or at the mountain. The bus pass gets you there and back (or there, if you choose one-way), and a live guide travels with the group. Ikon Pass holders can use their pass at Windham but still need to reserve their day on the mountain's site before boarding.

Windham has runs across all abilities. Beginners start on Wooly Bear to practice stops and turns; intermediates move to Lower Wolverine or Upper Wiseacres for more speed; experts take Upper Wheelchair or head to the east peak. The Big Bag, an inflatable for invert practice, sits on the mountain for riders who want air. The mountain's layout means you're not locked into a single terrain type for the day. You can move between beginner slopes and advanced runs as your group splits up.

How do I book my lift ticket and rentals for Windham?

Lift tickets, rentals and lessons are not included in the bus pass. You book them separately through Windham Mountain's website or purchase them at the mountain when you arrive. The bus gets you there. The mountain handles everything else.

What time does the bus leave New York City?

Urban Sherpa has multiple pickup locations across the city, and departure times vary by day of the week and season. Check the booking page for your specific pickup location and departure time when you select your date.

Can I use my Ikon Pass at Windham?

What's the difference between round-trip and one-way transport?

Round-trip includes your return bus to New York City at the end of the day. One-way gets you to the mountain only, so you'll need to arrange your own way back to the city.
