The experience

Bike Valet picks you up from your Vail hotel or their shop, fits you with a helmet and bike matched to your height, then loads everyone and the bikes into an air-conditioned van for the drive to the top of Vail Pass. Once you're at the top, you ride downhill on a paved path that glides through Tenmile Canyon for six miles, ending in Frisco. The route is a continuation of the path system, so you're on established terrain the whole way down.

Frisco sits at the end of the ride with restaurant options along Main Street, and Bike Valet can arrange a lunch reservation for you in advance or you can choose a spot when you arrive. After lunch, the van picks you up and drives you back to Vail. If you still have energy and want more riding, you can ask to be dropped at the top of Vail Pass instead and ride west into Vail town. The choice is yours depending on how the day feels.

What’s included

  • Air-conditioned van transport to Vail Pass and back to Vail.
  • helmet and bike fitted to your height.
  • the option to arrange lunch in Frisco ahead of time or choose from restaurants on Main Street.
