The experience

You arrive at The Escape Game in Torrance and a dedicated guide takes you into one of six games. Your team has exactly 60 minutes to work together: finding hidden clues, solving puzzles, and completing the mission that will let you escape. The guide is there the whole time, helping when you get stuck but letting your team drive the puzzle-solving. Communication and teamwork are what actually get you out. The puzzles are built so that no single person can solve everything alone.

The six games each tell a different story. Gold Rush sends you hunting for hidden gold in the California hills. Prison Break is a daring escape from an evil warden. Timeliner: Train Through Time challenges you to zigzag across past, present, and future to save the future. Cosmic Crisis puts you inside a mission to destroy a black hole. Playground has you completing a report card to reach summer break. The Depths asks you to uncover secrets in a lab. Each game spans multiple rooms, so you're moving through a physical space, not sitting at a screen. The puzzles are built into the walls, the locks, the objects around you.

Groups run up to 8 players in most games, or up to 12 in Playground. The experience is family-friendly, and the space is wheelchair accessible. You pick which game to play when you book, so you're choosing the story and the difficulty level that fits your group.
